This filter was custom built to our specifications after we saw an average of a 8-14% rwhp LOSS with the stock Procharger air filter
and plastic intake tube. The filter supplied with the C6/C5 Procharger kit has a bottle necked 3.5" inlet and a restrictive plastic
inlet tube. Our filter uses a 30% larger surface area to allow more filtered air to be absorbed by the filter and a FULL 4.0" inlet.

In order to get the full benefit of our new filter and inlet your car will need to have the new LS3 style Procharger radiator cradle
which has a 1.5" drop built in. ProCharger kit's are now produced and shipped with this cradle as part of the base kit. This allows
use of our smooth 4.0" inlet which is free of any restrictions and lets your Procharged C5/C6 Corvette BREATHE! A 5-8% RWHP
gain is expected when switching from a stock ProCharger air filter to our kit.
Gains as much as 60 rwhp have been measured in house but will depend vehicle power output as a percentage.

Run number 4 was with NO air filter. 852/743
Run number 5 was with our "DP Big Mouth" air filter kit. 823/734
Run number 6 was with a NEW ProCharger air filter and plastic inlet. 762/686
It is worth clarifying that Run number 6 was made with a brand new ProCharger air filter, not the unit pictured at the top of this page.

As you can see our filter only lost 30 rwhp and 9 rwtq from the best run with no air filter (only a 3.5% loss).
The Procharger air filter is loosing 90 rwhp and 57 rwtq with no other changes (that's a 11% hp LOSS)!!!
