Why Methanol Injection?
A few reasons are the ability to run additional octane, more fuel control, and up to a 50 degree intake air temperature DROP!

If you haven't noticed by now, we take pride in being innovative and building solutions to remedy any problem you have or we find.
We firmly believe that AlkyControl makes the most advanced and rugged Methanol Injection Kit on the market. Here are a few
extra steps we take on a typical AlkyControl install.
In order to securely mount the AlkyControl pump with out it being lower than the fender is a tricky job. We start by building a
platform and weld studs to it. We then strategically position the pump and bracket to clear the inside of the driver fender panel
and mount it horizontally to give us more ground clearance and keep it from protruding below the bottom of the car. Most shops
use the provided sheet metal screws to attach this heavy pump to the frame of your car - we just did NOT feel comfortable doing this.
Now we fully weld our bracket to the frame of the car (yes Z06 owners we can build this bracket out of aluminum and still weld it to
the chassis) and paint to match. Looks factory doesn't it? This is a more time consuming process but well worth it.

After we mount and wire the Methanol pump, we install a led inside the cabin to confirm when your Meth kit is working.

Next we relocate your Intake Air Tempurature sensor to be able to READ your lower IAT's. This is VERY important for properly
tuning the car and getting the most from your Methanol kit. In stock form the IAT sensor is housed inside the Mass Air Flow (MAF)
sensor (see picture). Relocating it requires purchasing the external sensor and pigtail and wiring it in. We only sell and install
Methanol kits this way. Don't let anyone talk you out of taking this extra step.
